As LA’s premier waterfront destination, Marina del Rey is a fun and vibrant getaway. The Marina offers a range of activities, from free outdoor concerts that get you moving, to jaw-dropping fireworks displays. California Sunset Series Sailing Regatta

The California Yacht Club puts on this series of sailing races that take place Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. April 19 – September 6, 2017.


Killer Rides

Killer Shrimp Restaurant & Bar opens its parking lot to hot rod, classic car, and motorcycle displays. Free admission. June 25, July 30, August 27, 2017.


Marina Fest

A boat show with vendors, yacht and sailboat displays, and activities. May 19-21, 2017.


Beach Eats Food Trucks

Head to the parking lot at Marina Beach on Thursdays for dinner with a water view. May 4 – September 28, 2017.


Kahanamoku Klassic

The Southern California Outrigger Racing Association hosts this canoe event. June 3, 2017.


4th of July Fireworks

Marina del Rey’s waterfront fireworks show attracts spectators from throughout the Southland to Burton Chace Park, Fisherman’s Village, and local hotels and restaurants. Free admission.


Old-Fashioned Day at the Park

View beautiful restored yachts from the 1920s-’50s and an array of vintage automobiles. July 23, 2017.


Movies in the Park

Family-friendly films are shown on an outdoor screen at Burton Chace Park. Free admission. 2017: July 8, 22; August 5, 19.


Summer Concert Series

This music series offers classical and pop music concerts on alternating weeks at Burton Chace Park. Free admission. 2017: July 6, 15, 20, 29; August 3, 12, 17, 26.


Discover Marina del Rey

This family-oriented festival offers educational information on health, safety, and the environment; as well as live music and many activities. Free admission. October 8, 2017.


Harvest Days and Haunted Nights

Experience the only haunted pirate ships in Los Angeles this Halloween! Expect kid-friendly fun by day and spooky entertainment by night (recommended for ages 13+). Free admission. October 28-29, 2017.


Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade

Thousands of spectators congregate in Fisherman’s Village and Burton Chase Park to watch lighted boats on parade in the main channel. December 9, 2017.


Snow Wonder Festival

Offered on the afternoon of the Holiday Boat Parade, this kid-focused festival has crafts, snow play and sledding, face painting, DJ entertainment, and more. December 9, 2017.


New Year’s Eve Celebration

Ring in the New Year at the Marina’s annual fireworks show.


Weekend Concerts at Fisherman’s Village

Enjoy live jazz, R&B, country, salsa, and other genres on rotation. Concerts are Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
