For an on-the-water experience that's everything you envision, a range of sail and power yachts are available for private, skippered charter or bareboat rental. Several larger ships can also be chartered for events from wedding receptions to corporate parties.

Blue Pacific Boating

Private half-day, full day and overnight skippered charters and bareboat rentals; 19 sailing vessels, one 34-foot and one 39-foot motor vessel; seminars at sea; burial at sea. Sailing instruction, ASA certification classes.

Blue Water Sailing

Private sailing charters and bareboat rentals (14 – 45 ft); coastal/harbor cruises; corporate regattas/team building; marriage proposals; wedding party getaways; TV, film support; seminars at sea; burial at sea; instruction and certification.

Captain Alex's Paradise Bound Yacht Charters

Captain Alex Balian’s Paradise Bound Charters offers harbor, coastal, sunset cruises, day sailing, marriage proposals, celebration events, fishing trips and more on customized private charters. Docked at The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey.

FantaSea Yachts & Yacht Club

Private charters for corporate and social events, seminars at sea and burial at sea on yachts ranging from 60 to 125 ft. Separate land-based banquet facility can be used with any yacht. Cuisine, decorations and event coordination offered.

Gondolas D'Amore

32 ft. Italian gondola, complete with pillows, music, and oil lamps, for harbor excursions, weddings, bridal getaways, cocktail cruises and social events. Dinner and appetizers available; guests may bring in food & beverage.

Hornblower Cruises & Events

Hornblower offers public dining and cocktail cruises and private charters aboard a fleet of contemporary and vintage yachts. Yachts are available for private charter for corporate events, holiday events, celebrations and weddings.

Marina del Rey Sportfishing

Daily public fishing trips; experience not necessary; tackle and bait can be supplied. Advance reservations required. Groups welcome. Private charter excursions are available. Boats depart from Dock 52 at 13501 Fiji Way.

Marina Sailing

Private sailing charters for quarter, half or full day; skippered team-building sails for groups; Catalina, Jeanneau, Hunter sail boats; bareboat rentals with license or staff approved testing; sailing instruction available for non-members; seminars at sea; burial at sea.

Tiki Mermaid Charter Yachts

"Tiki Mermaid" is a Trader Vic-style party boat carrying up to 75 guests on two floors (including lounge with sofas) with two outdoor decks, bar, dance floor. "Tiki Too" has a wide screen TV, dance floor, outdoor deck, and fireplace.

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary

U.S.C.G. Auxiliary provides public classes on boating skills, seamanship, sailing fundamentals, basic and advanced coastal navigation and more. They also conduct free vessel safety checks. For course schedules, log on to website.
