Blue Pacific Boating
Sailing from the Marina since 1989, Blue Pacific has one of the largest fleets in the area. Unique ASA-approved 3, 5, or 8-day Confidence Sailing Courses offered, plus spinnaker, first mate, sailing refreshers and big boat class courses.
Blue Water Sailing
Operating since 1978, Bluewater Sailing is an ASA Gold Star School, and teaches a spectrum of group sailing courses and private lessons from beginning to advanced; racing; and ocean-crossing skills development for boats ranging from 14 – 50 ft.
California Sailing Academy
Since 1964, CSA is one of the oldest, largest and most respected sailing schools, offering group and private classes ranging from basic sailing to U.S. Coast Guard approved Captain's courses. About 80% of the time is spent on the water.
Marina Sailing is California's oldest and largest sailing club, and offers group and private beginning, intermediate and advanced sailing lessons, ASA certification, power boat operation, racing, group and private instruction.
Naos Yachts is now an ASA Certified Sailing School that offers a full range of courses that takes you from beginning sailing to qualification to chatering a catamaran. Private instruction, family classes or group lessons are available.
UCLA Marina Aquatic Center
Marina Aquatic Center offers extensive instructional and recreational boating programs, including stand-up paddling, windsurfing, kayaking, surfing, rowing and sailing. Equipment rentals are also available. All programs are open to non-UCLA community affiliates.
US Coast Guard Auxiliary
Public education classroom lessons in boating skills and seamanship, sailing fundamentals, basic and advanced coastal navigation and more. They also conduct free vessel safety checks. Class schedules are available on the website.
