Welcome to our blog series, 90292 Eats, which explores dining in Marina del Rey. The staff of the Marina del Rey Convention & Visitors Bureau is more than happy to try out our local restaurants and point you in the right direction of what to order. Bon Appétit!

Beachside

Having been partially closed for the better part of 2017, Beachside restaurant unveiled its fully renovated space in mid September. Locals and Westside commuters are thrilled to have this Happy Hour mainstay back, now with a new indoor-outdoor bar and coastal chic styling.

The Yums

Calamari fries served with house-made tartar sauce and Bloody Mary cocktail sauce

Calamari fries have appeared on the brunch and dinner menus as a starter, and the generously breaded octopus steak slices hit the spot. Move on to a flatiron steak salad or blue crab and arugula.  A twist on Chicken and Waffles is Beachside’s brunch plate of fried chicken tenders served with a Frangelico custard French toast. Another filler is the Breakfast Enchiladas, which is a savory scramble highlighted by chicken chorizo and served in rolled tortillas and topped with red sauce. The brunch menu is offered daily, 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to try ’em all.

Cedar plank grilled salmon, grilled swordfish, and a flatiron steak in chimichurri sauce all compete as top recommendations from the dinner menu.
