FULL MOON DINING CRUISES

Ply the waters of the picturesque Marina under the glow of a full moon with Hornblower Cruises. Enjoy a full-service four-course meal, then head to the top deck to dance under the stars with DJ entertainment. 2018 dates: July 27, 28; August 25; November 23; December 21, 22.

MARINA DEL REY FARMERS MARKET

Head to County Parking Lot 11 (Via Marina @ Panay Way) every Saturday for farm-fresh produce, flowers, prepared foods, handmade items, music, and entertainment. Open year-round. Free admission. Parking lot pay-and-display kiosk, just $1 per hour.

Watch Dirty Dancing (1987 version) at Burton Chace Park on Saturday. Pack your picnic baskets and low-back beach chairs enjoy this outdoor movie screening under the stars. Movie starts at 8 p.m., but arrive by 7 to pick out your spot on the lawn and participate in an interactive dance lesson.

Hornblower Cruises offers brunch sailings on Saturdays and Sundays year-round. Enjoy views of the sparkling harbor and passing sailboats while you dine on a gourmet meal. Enjoy bottomless champagne or sparkling cider, a brunch buffet, live jazz entertainment, and more on a two-hour scenic cruise.

FISHERMAN’S VILLAGE CONCERTS

Break out your dancing shoes and head to the plaza at Fisherman’s Village for live R&B by Friends on Saturday and jazz/funk by 2 Azz 1 on Sunday. Both days, 2-5 p.m. Two hours free parking with validation.

OLD FASHIONED DAY AT THE PARK

KILLER RIDES CAR SHOW SERIES

SUNDAY BOATHOUSE

The Marina del Rey Hotel annually offers a summertime series of Sunday pool parties (open to the public) through September 2. Come for DJ music, themed events, and poolside bites and libations. No cover charge! Non-hotel guests must be age 21+. Noon–6 p.m.

FREE YOGA CLASS

Join instructor Maria Noe’s outdoor yoga class at beautiful Burton Chace Park every Sunday and Monday, 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Bring your own yoga mat. Donations are gratefully accepted but not required. Look for Maria’s class outdoors, or inside the Community Room (in inclement weather).
