Grab your buddies, coworkers, neighbors and anyone who likes good food and fun vibes -- head to Marina "Mother's" Beach for our weekly food truck series on Thursdays 5-9PM . Reggae music performed live by Upstream from 6-8PM while you nosh on some good food and drinks.

Hop on the Water Bus

One of the best ways to get around Marina del Rey is the Water Bus, which starts running Thursday, June 20 (every Thursday-Sunday, see brochure for schedule). For $1 per passenger (cash only, one-way), you can explore the Marina and hop-on and off at eight different stops, including Burton Chace Park, Marina 'Mother's' Beach or Fisherman's Village. Strollers and bikes are welcome. Plus, this leisurely boat ride offers passengers both young and young-at-heart with delightful sightings of sea-lions, pelicans and other marine creatures.

Thursdays & Fridays: Live Music

The Marina has plenty of choices when it comes to hearing live music. Check out Thursdays at Beachside restaurant near Marina 'Mother's' Beach between 6-8 p.m. On Friday, experience live music at Sinder Lounge at the Marina del Rey Marriott during happy hour. Friday night fun continues down the road at Marina Grill & Bar -- enjoy cocktails and bites while a local musician performs on the patio from 5-8 p.m. Or slip on your dancing shoes and try Salsa at The Warehouse starting at 9 p.m. Join in on the free class before the floor opens to all at 10 p.m.

Friday, June 21: Nothin' but the Blues Dinner Cruise

Jazz up your weekend with cool tunes from hot regional blues musicians. Hornblower Cruises & Events offers this summer series of live music cruises in the scenic Marina del Rey harbor. Dance under the stars, sip craft cocktails, and enjoy a gourmet seated dinner with your date or group.

Saturday & Sunday, June 21-22: Marina Fest

Bring the kids and take the Water Bus to Burton Chace Park for this fun annual weekend event featuring a boat show with vendors, yacht and sailboat displays, and kids’ activities (Sunday only). Landside activities are free. Nominal fee for dockside boat show.

Saturday & Sunday, June 21-22: Champagne Brunch Cruise

Hornblower Cruises offers brunch sailings on Saturdays and Sundays year-round. Enjoy views of the sparkling harbor and passing sailboats while you dine on a gourmet meal. Sunday Boathouse Pool Party

Held every Sunday through September 1st at the Marina del Rey Hotel, Sunday Boathouse is the most refreshing pool party on the Westside.
