Outdoor time is good for kids and grown-ups, too. Luckily, for many Angelenos, Marina del Rey is one of the top kid-friendly vacation destinations in Los Angeles. The marina offers wide open spaces on and near the water with plenty of fun kids activities that keep families safe and more than six feet apart from others.

1. Relax at Burton Chace Park

Head to this beautiful 10-acre park surrounded by water. Bring your own food or order takeout for a picnic. Note: picnic tables are closed, so find a spot on the grass to socially distance from others. Other fun things to do here: Ride bikes or scooters, fly a kite, or keep an eye out for sea lions on the docks.
