Marina Halloweek 2020
This year, Marina del Rey celebrates “Marina HalloWeek” by encouraging locals and visitors to dress in costume and dine at local restaurants in the marina. From Sunday, October 25 through Saturday, October 31, get “dressed in your Halloween best” and enjoy lunch or dinner at Marina del Rey restaurants. Embrace the Halloween spirit all week long and instead of trick-or-treating, families and quaranteams are invited to eat at their favorite Marina del Rey restaurants and show off their creative costumes.
To enter Marina del Rey Tourism Board’s annual Halloween photo contest, post a photo of your costumed crew with the special hashtag #mdrhalloweek. Prizes include gift certificates to Marina del Rey restaurants such as SALT Restaurant and Bar and Tony P’s Dockside Grill; newly opened Residence Inn by Marriott and on-the-water attractions including Pro SUP Shop and YOGAqua.
Five winners will be selected based on the following categories:
- Best kid’s costume
- Best ensemble costume (more than two people in group photo)
- Best pet costume
- Best duo costume
- Scariest costume
Winners of the Marina Halloweek photo contest will be selected and announced on Monday, November 2 by 5 p.m. PST on our Instagram @marinadelrey_ca and Facebook page. Entries must be posted on Instagram or Facebook between 8 a.m. Sunday, October 25 and midnight on Sunday, November 1, 2020 with the hashtag #mdrhalloweek in order to be submitted for the photo contest.
