10-Acre Burton Chace Park
Want more fresh air? Head to this beautiful 10-acre park surrounded by water. Hit the flat, paved walking path along the perimeter for a morning walk or find a clear patch of grass to do your own full body workout.
Scenic Marina del Rey is located along the Marvin Braude Coastal Bike Trail, a 22-mile coastal path from Santa Monica all the way to Torrance. LA County beach bike paths are now open. Click the link below to download a map of the route.
This calm cove is a local's favorite for kayaking or stand-up paddling. Both activities are great for getting fit, working on your balance and enjoying some Vitamin Sea on the Pacific Coast. You can easily rent stand-up paddle boards and kayaks from outfitters such as ProSUP Shop or Paddle Method and Marina del Rey Boat Rentals. You'll get a good cardio and upper body workout while enjoying the sights along the harbor.
This narrow sliver of green space runs parallel to Admiralty Way in the heart of the Marina, and includes a free parcourse fitness circuit. Parking is available in a pay-and-display lot at the north end.
Challenge your fitness level and sign up for a 90-minute lesson doing vinyasa yoga flow on a stand-up paddle board with YOGAqua. All levels are welcome. The first 30 minutes will include a lesson on how to properly use a paddleboard and peacefully paddle around the harbor.
As of Dec. 30, you may take a class if you are using your own equipment (paddle board and paddle).
