Maiden at Cal-Yacht Club

Welcome Maiden to Marina del Rey! Maiden gained international attention as the first yacht to be sailed around the world by an all-female crew when the yacht raced against all odds in the 1989/90 ​Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race. The iconic yacht was featured in the Sony Pictures Classics’ doc, MAIDEN. The California Yacht Club will hold an “Open Day” for the public to get a chance to see Maiden, meet the crew and tour the yacht. Free.
