Food Truck Thursdays at Marina “Mother’s” Beach

It’s no secret that Los Angeles food trucks are the hottest wheels in town. At any given time throughout the city, Twitter followers and devoted foodies are flocking to parking lots and street fairs for a sampling of their favorite grub. Marina del Rey is no exception. Beach Eats is a weekly food truck gathering at Marina “Mother’s” Beach on summer Thursdays, 5–9 p.m, through September 27. See you there!

June 21
6-8 p.m.

Cali Conscious

Hailing from Huntington Beach, Cali Conscious brings a laid-back surf rock/reggae sound to venues throughout SoCal every week, and we’re happy to have them perform regularly at Beach Eats 2018. The music blends 3-part harmonies, upbeat rhythms, and environmentally conscientious lyrics to create an energetic live experience that makes your soul groove.

Yachtley Crew

Enjoy extended music hours tonight in celebration of the grand reopening of Marina Beach. Yachtley Crew entertains with the ultimate collection of 70s and 80s yacht rock.

July 12
6-8 p.m.

Kalama Brothers

Brothers Ryan and Kai Kalama grew up in Southern California playing and singing a variety of music with various instruments to re-create cover songs that work with all ages. They also love to create originals and recently released their first Hawaiian album, Keau, with help from their late father. They are enjoying the journey back to their roots as they embrace the music that their father and uncle performed as the original Kalama Brothers.

You might've seen this local group on Wednesdays at The Warehouse. Unkle brings a range of genres, including reggae, calypso, Hawaiian, and zydeco, to our beach setting on several dates this season.

THE FREE RIDE

The Free Ride offers free daily transportation in the Marina and Venice from noon till 9 p.m. If you see a car, wave it down. THE WATERBUS

The Marina del Rey WaterBus operates June 21–September 3, 2018. Rides are just $1 each way. Service is offered Thursday–Saturday, 11 a.m.-midnight; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Bikes and strollers are allowed. Sorry, no pets. Click here for a brochure and map.
