Burton W. Chace Park
Burton Chace Park Closed on july 4, 2020
The Department of Beaches and Harbors encourages the public to follow the LA County “Safer at Home Order,” which requires people maintain a physical distance of six feet from each other and prohibits group gatherings.
This beautiful 10-acre Burton W. Chace Park is a stunning destination in the Marina. Jutting out into the main channel, it offers one of the best viewing areas of the harbor with water views on three sides. Hit the flat, paved walking path along the perimeter a morning walk, or relax on a bench to watch the sunset. The park is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Parking is available in several pay-and-display lots. Click here for an interactive map.
Covered picnic pavilions and a smattering of uncovered tables, all with barbecue access, make for a great family gathering. Picnic Pavilion A and an indoor multipurpose room are available to reserve by calling the park office at 424-526-7903. All other tables are first come, first served. Gatherings of 50 people or more need to contact the park office for an event permit.
Burton Chace Park is the site of many community events and festivals, including the Old Fashioned Day in May, the Summer Concert Series in July and August, Marina Spooktacular in October, and Marina Lights in December. Learn about these festivals and more on our Annual Events page.
The park also has complimentary guest docks available for up to four hours, and overnight docks that charge by the foot; pay for the latter in the park office. Click here for more information.
Burton Chace Park is a boarding and drop-off point for the summer-season Marina del Rey WaterBus. Get more information about this attraction here.
