Beachside, a waterfront restaurant along Marina "Mother's" Beach, will offer two special Independence Day menu items served family-style from noon-10 p.m.: Seafood Fry for $55 (serves up to 4) includes 8 pieces beer battered cod, half-pound of calamari fries, half-pound of popcorn shrimp, French fries and coleslaw; served with cocktail, tartare sauces, grilled lemons. Beachside BBQ for $60 (serves 2) includes Beef Brisket, pulled pork, hot links, corn on the cob, tater tots and coleslaw. Cafe del Rey, known for its elevated coastal California fare, is offering a three-course prix fixe dinner featuring choices such as braised beef short rib, grilled swordfish and crispy fried Jidori chicken. Two seatings are available at 5 p.m. (complimentary sparkling wine included) and 7 p.m. (fireworks seating, no sparkling wine) for $95 per adult, $20 per child 12 and under. Celebrate Independence Day at Cast & Plow, the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey's signature waterfront restaurant boasting spectacular views of the fireworks over L.A.'s Marina. The annual all-day Independence Day celebration kicks off at 11 a.m. on the Pool Deck and Event Lawn featuring food, drinks, games, and live music. The DJ will be spinning 1 p.m. until the fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Located right on the marina, the hotel offers the best views of the fireworks show. Entrance to the Pool Deck is $20.
